Music
Shri Bhosekar Guruji learnt flute or bansuri from the reknowned Pt Pannalal Ghosh till the time pannababu moved to Delhi . He later continued to learn from pannababu’s senior disciple Pt V G Karnad. There are references to his learning days in the biography of pt V G karnad and in also in sanskar prakashan’s book on pannababu. Both books by Shri Vishwas Kulkarni.
SadGuru Bhosekar guruji was a very fluid harmonium player as well and had accompanied many known names. His logic was being an accompanying instrument harmonium helps more people than flute which is solo , so he shifted his focus later and also he focused more on the spiritual path post his deeksha from Shri Gulavani maharaj. He worked as the examiner on the music auditions at All India Radio Hyderabad around 1982.
Swar sanskar was the name given by him , to his work of distributing musical knowledge to everyone who wanted to learn. He taught flute, harmonium, tabla vocal, classical, semiclassical, bhavgeets , geet ramayan , everything and anything as per need of the student. One of the boards in his house said “ Vidyarthi Devo bhava” (The student is same as God) , which in itself underlines his thoughts on this musical journey and overall vision. His affinity to Geetramayan was natural , he did conduct programmes on the same and also had tried to translate and conduct a program of Geet ramayan in hindi.
